Dixie Pomegranate Salad

Dixie Pomegranate Salad (recipe courtesy Jenifer Fournier)

1 cup sugar
4 T. flour
2 c. pineapple juice
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 pt whipping cream (whip this without any sugar to a fairly firm consistency)
Pomegranate seeds (if you can find them)
Apples (any kind)

Combine sugar and flour. Stir in pineapple juice and beaten eggs. Cook over medium heat until thick. Cool and fold whipped cream into pineapple juice mixture. Add fruits and gently incorporate.
