1/2 lb. ground lamb
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
1 clove finely chopped garlic

2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp. Green or red pepper, finely chopped
3/4 c. tomato juice
Salt & pepper

Knead all ingredients together – I used Kitchen Aid. Shape into meat balls. Place in light olive oil baking pan and broil or bake on all sides.

Serve with salad, hummus and pita bread.

I made salad of romaine lettuce, tomatoes (home grown), thinly sliced cucumbers, thinly sliced radishes, seven calamata olives, feta cheese and very small amount of blue cheese. Dressing of olive oil, red wine vinegar with garlic powder and pepper mixed in.
